General services

• Institutional relationships. ASICMA has worked continuously to maintain a close relationship with the public authorities of Madrid to defend the interests of the engineering sector. The association endeavour through the Autonomous Community of Madrid is to improve the procurement conditions of public tenders for engineering and consulting services.

  Similarly, ASICMA seek to continually strengthen ties with all public and private institutions in order to establish favourable synergies for the engineering sector and to develop and collaborate in an endless number of projects.

• Meeting point for mutual knowledge, exchange of experiences and organisational methods among companies. Therefore, business relationships are promoted and matters of interest to the sector may be discussed.
• Representation and opinion. The interests of companies within the engineering sector are represented and defended before autonomous and local public bodies, and before other bodies and institutions.

ASICMA collaborates with public authorities in the development of the legislation applicable to the sector, and represents companies that are members of the international associations and federations in the engineering sector.

• Insurance Programme negotiated exclusively for the members. Our companies benefit from professional civil liability insurance, Insurance policy for directors and executives, access to technical guarantees and accident insurance.
• Certificates on the company’s situation. These types of certificates are executed, which are required by the contracting Spanish and international authorities.

The web page is the main tool where members can be permanently informed about everything the association offers, its activities and the main innovations in the engineering sector.

Members receive a free digital copy of the ASICMA magazine, which has an easy-to-read digital format and covers current subjects of special interest in the engineering and consulting sector.

Member companies regularly receive information on all activities carried out by the association through a monthly bulletin.

ASICMA disseminates and promotes the requirements of the engineering services with the public and private companies.

Internationalisation services

Export support

ASICMA has developed a series of actions with the objective of promoting export activities and the processes for internationalising member companies. Accordingly, the association seeks support from institutions in Madrid working to promote internationalisation, from which it also receives significant subsidies.

SICI (Information System for International Tenders)

This service informs members about opportunities for engineering and consulting companies published daily through a selection of multilateral organisations.

Training services

Continuing Education Courses

Also noteworthy of mention are the specialised courses offered to companies which are provided thanks to the subsidies granted by the Autonomous Community of Madrid (Women and Labour Department) for training those employed.

ASICMA developed the Continuing Education Plan, which concentrates on subjects related to management skills, business communication, marketing and R&D+i and languages, as these are some of the most sought after training subjects in the sector.
